Water from the Hood comes from the natural Ice Fountain Spring located near the base of Mt. Hood near Hood River, OR.
The Ice Fountain Spring is tapped with a bore hole and collected in a "spring box". From there it travels to a reservoir tank and distributed to a small community of around 1500 homes.
Water from the Hood is collected at the source before it is distributed to the community. We filter it and ozonate it per FDA standards before we bottle it. When you drink a bottle of Water from the Hood you're drinking fresh spring water with no additives. It's untouched by treatment plants, chlorine, fluoride, or any foreign matter.

In 2000, Ice Fountain Water was voted #1 in Oregon for taste, clarity, and quality. When visitors come to our community they say how good our water tastes. In fact, when a close friend was visiting in the summer of 2005 he was drinking a glass of Ice Fountain water and casually said "Wow, this water is fantastic! Someone should bottle this up and share it with the rest of the world!"
Thank you for spending the time to find out where our water comes from, and we hope you enjoy our water as much as we do.
